Thumb Piano made from a TV Remote

Here is a nifty thumb piano I made from a TV remote and a box of Sparkfun.

I made this thumb piano out of a TV remote and an Arduino Uno board with the Musical Instrument Shield and IR Receiver module during the big shut-in of 2020. In addition to using the numeric keys to play notes, you can use the Vol +/- buttons to change the tonal register and the Ch +/- buttons to change the MIDI instrument. It is a fun and pretty easy project and I expect to add more features now that I have learned the basic operation of the music board.
